Welcome to Tender Hearts Preschool and Child Care, where your child’s spiritual and educational growth is at the heart of everything we do. Our Christ-centered approach nurtures little ones with values of kindness, respect, and love, creating a safe and positive environment for each child to flourish. With our highly trained staff, we provide exceptional care and early learning opportunities tailored to each stage of development. Through creative play, engaging lessons, and gentle guidance, your child will grow in faith, friendship, and knowledge every day. At Tender Hearts, we partner with families to lay a strong foundation of faith and joy in every child’s heart.
Mission Statement
Our mission is to help meet the childcare and preschool needs of our community by providing quality educational services within a Christian environment, developing creative minds and tender hearts!
Our hours are 7AM to 5PM Monday to Friday.
We Offer Preschool and Childcare for 2 to 5 year olds.
Half days are available 9AM to 1PM.
Full days are available from 7AM to 5PM.
Educational Programs
Our school year runs from early September to June. We offer a summer camp starting in late June to mid August. Tender Heart’s is enrolled in the Grow NJ Kids program, a quality rating & improvement system. We follow the Grow NJ Kids requirements and curriculums.

• Fenced in designed playground for gross motor skills
• An inside gym area for bad weather days
• Separate nap room which contains individual cots for each child while listening to relaxing classical music
• Dramatic play centers
• Fine motor skills centers: blocks,sewing, puzzles…
• Reading centers
• Arts and crafts centers

ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES
- We love parties!
- We enjoy holiday and birthday celebrations.
- We welcome several “guests” throughout the year from various organizations, including a live nativity at Christmas, a egg hatching project in the spring and our annual visit to the fire house in the fall.
- We attend 2 field trips, a pumpkin picking trip in the fall and a visit to Storybook land in the spring.
